Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
On my next visit to Dublin, I'll be using Amberley House. The room was excellent, small, and clean, with nice linen, a courtesy kit, kettle, and water. The service was wonderful and went the extra mile, accommodating our needs for an early breakfast. The location is fairly good, a short walk into town or to the tram. The dining experience was alright, but not worth the high price. Overall, a comfortable and clean stay with friendly service.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and exceptionally nice. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The location was perfect, close to all the main tourist spots in central Dublin. However, the dining experience was disappointing, with croissants that seemed stale. The facilities were good overall, but there were a few issues with the breakfast.
The hotel had an aircon control panel that didn't work, causing uncomfortably hot nights in the very small room, especially the tiny bathroom. The service was friendly and accommodating, even putting up birthday decorations. Its location was perfect for exploring the city, and the dining experience was mixed, with fresh produce but sometimes lacking variety. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and luckily not facing the busy street. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was great, with easy access to the City Centre. The dining experience was excellent, accommodating requests with fresh and delicious dishes. The facilities were top-notch for a comfortable stay.
The hotel's location is convenient, within walking distance of transport and shops, offering a comfortable stay. However, the rooms were devoid of bedroom furniture, and the dining experience was not worth the price for two nights.
I had a cozy stay at this hotel, with the rooms featuring comfy beds and plenty of towels. However, the layout required climbing over the bed and navigating small stairs. The location, though opposite a school, was conveniently close to the city center.
The hotel had a great location with superb transport links to/from Dublin airport and was walking distance to O'Connell main road. The rooms were comfortable, large, and clean with all necessities catered for, though they were very small. The staff were very helpful and friendly, smiling despite trying circumstances. The dining experience was not pleasant with microwaved food, and the price was considered high for the value offered.
When I wanted a break from the cramped room, the hotel offered a nice and clean space that was very welcoming. The high level of street noise was expected in Dublin, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.
The hotel was not as modern as pictured on the website, and the rooms were small and dated. The staff, although decorated for Christmas, seemed surly and took a long time to address concerns. The location was excellent with superb transport links, but it is a bit of a walk to reach some key areas. The dining experience was subpar compared to similar hotels, with mostly microwaved meals. Despite these issues, the hotel was convenient for airport dropoff/pickup.
The hotel is in a perfect location, next to the airlink stop from the airport and right in the center of Dublin. The rooms were spacious and modern, albeit with a slight cigarette smell. The staff were nice and friendly, offering excellent service. The dining options were on the skimpy side, but the wood-fired pizza was a delight. Overall, a convenient stay with some minor room issues.
The hotel is conveniently located right beside a busy street, a short walk from the shopping strip, and about a 15-minute walk to Temple Bar. The room, suitable for 4 people, was a good size and located 300m from the reception. The service, though very nice and helpful, had a foreign accent that was sometimes hard to understand. The central location provided easy access to interesting places and good food, with a lively nightlife scene nearby. The dining experience offered basic breakfast options that came in a bag, similar to other places visited in Ireland.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was clean and comfortable, but the noise from the stairs was constant. The service was excellent, with the staff going the extra mile to accommodate our needs. The location was great for touring, though a bit concerning for walking. The dining experience was average, and the facilities were decent.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the center, within walking distance of many main attractions. The rooms are lovely, clean, and comfortable, with the added convenience of free coffee and tea. However, being situated near a storage room can cause noise disturbances. The bathroom had mold and an unpleasant smell. The hotel is easy to reach by foot or public transport but lacks a great surrounding area.
The hotel was a cozy and quiet place, perfect for a relaxing stay. The room, although small, was warm and welcoming. The service was top-notch, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the city center and public transport. The dining options were budget-friendly but limited. Overall, a great value for a comfortable stay.
The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the city center and public transport, making it perfect for our short break. The rooms were warm and cozy but a bit small, which was manageable for a solo traveler. The service was friendly and above expectations, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The dining experience was minimal, with basic offerings, but the location and modern facilities compensated for it.
